Repeat after me, emails MUST be functional. A lot of times, we design and then try our emails like we are preparing for print magazine. There is a lot to consider when developing your email template. Things like how it will work on multiple devices, email clients, its accessibility to those that meet ADA requirements, not to mention if we want Alexa to read the email. There are some staple best practices to follow so that you can still have that beautiful email you want, but most importantly you have that functional email your recipients need (and deserve).
